Write to wuzhihun_shen@outlook.com with the page URL and the number you think is wrong. Corrections with a source get priority and are dated on the page.
One address, one person, and a short list of what makes a message easy to act on.

A correction. Include the page URL, the sentence or number you think is wrong, and what it should say. If you have a source, a link to the patch note or the store page is worth more than a paragraph of explanation.
A missing mechanic. If the DLC does something the site does not cover, describe what you saw in the game: which character, which path, which wave. Observations from a run are useful even without a source, because they tell me where to look.
A broken page. Screenshot optional. The URL and what you expected to see is enough.

Mod requests. The site does not host or recommend mods, and it will not troubleshoot a modded client beyond the general checklist on the mods page.
Bug reports for the developers. This is a fan site. Bugs in the game go to the Steam discussions or the developers' own channels, not here. I cannot fix the game and I cannot forward reports.
Account or purchase problems. Steam support handles those. Nothing on this site touches your account.
How corrections are handled
Every message that includes a page URL gets read. The process is:
- Check the claim against a public source. The patch notes, the store page, the achievement list, or the game itself.
- Reproduce it if it is a mechanic. If a reader says a drop rate feels different, that is testable.
- Update the page and move the checked date. The date on the page is the date it was verified, so a correction changes it.
- Reply if a reply helps. Not every correction needs one, but anything that changes a page usually gets a short note back.
Corrections that come with a public source move first. Corrections without one still get checked, they just take longer, because the burden is on me to find the source rather than on you to provide it.
Response time
This is a one-person site, not a support desk. Expect days rather than hours, and expect silence if a message does not need an answer. A correction that lands on a page will be visible on the page even if the email gets no reply.
Your message stays private
It will not publish your email address, quote you by name without asking, or add you to a list. There is no newsletter, no account system, and no comment section. The address exists for correspondence about the pages.
A note on scope
The site covers Brotato: Primal Dread on Steam, against build 1.2.0.1. If you are writing about a different platform, a different build, or a different DLC, the answer may still be useful but the page it belongs on may not exist yet. Saying which version you are on saves a round trip.
If you want to read first
Most questions are already answered somewhere in the guide. The FAQ covers twelve of the most common ones, the guides index lists every page with the question it answers, and the about page explains how the numbers are sourced.
If your question is not in any of those, that is exactly the kind of message worth sending: it tells me what the site is missing.
Four messages that arrive
| Message | What happens | What would help |
|---|---|---|
| "The mutagen rate is wrong" | Checked against 1.2.0.1 notes, which say 3% | Say which build your game shows |
| "Character X does Y" | Logged as a player observation, not published as fact | Say how you triggered it |
| "This page 404s" | Fixed in the next deploy | The URL you clicked from |
| "Can you cover Z?" | Added to the queue if it is a real player question | Say what you searched for |
What counts as a source
A patch note, a store page, or a screenshot of the game's own UI is a source. A video is a source if the relevant moment is visible in the frame. A comment on a forum is a lead, not a source, but it is a useful lead and it often starts a check.
The distinction matters because this site will not publish a mechanic on the strength of a forum post. If you send one, expect it to be verified before it appears, which may mean it never appears.
If you are a developer
Corrections and clarifications from Blobfish Games or Evil Empire are welcome and take priority over everything else. The site is independent and will stay independent, but it has no interest in being wrong about your game.
If you want to reuse something
Short quotes with a link are fine. Longer reproduction is not, mostly because the pages are checked and re-checked and a stale copy misleading readers is worse than no copy. If you want to translate a page, write first.
One thing to avoid
Please do not send a message that is only a link to another guide site. Comparing pages is useful when it points at a specific discrepancy; "your page is wrong, see this" without the specific claim is not actionable, and there is no way to check it without reading someone else's guesswork.
